Friday Nocturnes: We Are Wolves Friday, September 7, 2007 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Montréal, September 4, 2007. Join the pack for an evening plugged into “electro-punk-rock” with We Are Wolves on September 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. as part of the Musée d’art contemporain Nocturnes. On the program: live music and the launch of their latest album Total magique. It’ll be a howl!
Montréal-based trio We Are Wolves, featuring Alexander Ortiz on vocals/bass/guitar, Vincent Lévesque on synths/drum machine/vocals and Antonin Marquis on drums/percussion/vocals, create music that stands out from the norm and expands the threshold of what a musical act can be.
Nocturnes
On the first Friday of every month, the Musée is open late from 6 to 9, for an evening where you can expect the unexpected. Visit the galleries on your own, or take in exhibition “clips”: speed tours of a random selection of works currently on view, plus live music and bar service with original drinks concocted by Mixoart & Fluid Flair. Enjoy original cocktails like Nocturnes, Point G, Artefact or Lotus Rose. Cash bar only.
Nocturnes: a different way to visit the museum and connect with today’s art.
No reservation necessary. Admission with regular Musée ticket or our new $10 Wired card. Information: myspace.com/vendredisnocturnes or www.macm.org.
