Friday Nocturnes at the MAC
November 2 - The National Parcs

THE NATIONAL PARCS
Bangin’ Beats from the Bush
Live performance at the Musée d’art contemporain
Friday, November 2, 2007

Montreal, October 17, 2007 –The National Parcs will be performing at the Musée d’art contemporain on Friday, November 2nd.

Last spring, Vincent « Freeworm » Letellier, Chimwemwe Miller and Ian Cameron gave birth to an extraordinary project called « The National Parcs ». With their groundbreaking CD/DVD album « Timbervision » , the trio use the great outdoors as theit studio, simultaneously shooting and recording their all-natural and original audio/visual samples such as wood splitting, sand slipping, paddles slapping, water dripping, and rocks banging, to make tracks which move and shake.

For the first time in Montreal, The National Parcs bring their forest playground to the stage with synchronized music, video and lighting as a part of the Musée d’art contemporain Nocturnes series on Friday, November 2nd at 7pm.
